Weighted plushies for calm, comfort, and security
Why choose a weighted plush toy?
More and more people are discovering the benefits of a weighted plush toy. While a regular plush toy primarily offers comfort, a weighted plush toy combines softness with deep pressure stimulation. This even pressure can help release tension and create a sense of security.
Our Huggle Buddy weighted plush toys are designed for anyone who needs more moments of calm throughout the day. Whether you want to relax on the couch, seek a moment of sensory relief, or want to sleep better, a weighted plush toy can help.
Do weighted plush toys really work?
A weighted plush toy works on the principle of Deep Pressure Stimulation (DPS). This gentle, constant pressure has a proven calming effect on our nervous system. This means weighted plush toys can help with:
- better sleep and falling asleep faster
- less stress, anxiety, and tension
- reducing overstimulation (e.g., ADHD, ASD, HSP)
- providing comfort during restlessness or loneliness
- more security in new or exciting situations

Do the cuddly toys help with better sleep, stress, and anxiety?
Do the cuddly toys help with better sleep, stress, and anxiety?
Yes, Huggle Buddy weighted plush toys are designed to provide a sense of calm, security, and comfort. Due to the even pressure (deep pressure stimulation - DPS) of the weight, many people experience more relaxation, less restlessness, and more comfort during stressful moments. As a result, our plush toys are often used while relaxing on the couch, before bedtime, or during moments of overstimulation.
What makes the plush toys so heavy?
What makes the plush toys so heavy?
The plush toys are filled with small glass beads. These create the weighted feel. These beads are safe and tested. Our plush toys comply with European safety, health, and environmental requirements, and therefore bear the CE mark.

How do I wash my Huggle Buddy?
You can best clean the plush toys with a damp cloth (and a little soap). We do not recommend washing the plush toys in the washing machine due to the weighted filling.
